The Government of Ghana has been implementing major road intervention programs as part of its National Transport Policy. These interventions include construction rehabilitation/reconstruction and maintenance of rural, trunk and urban road infrastructure. The Pokuase interchange significantly improved transportation for commuters in Accra, reducing travel time and cost and overall enhancing road safety and standards.
